Broadcast Codec is a reference tool for broadcast engineering professionals. This policy describes how the app handles your information.
Broadcast Codec does not collect, store, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no telemetry of any kind.
The app loads fonts and interface resources from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) on first use. After the initial load, the app shell functions offline via a service worker cache. Standard web requests (font loading, hosting) are subject to the third-party policies described below. No user-generated data is transmitted to any server at any time.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or any other device permissions beyond standard internet access for the initial load.
Netlify — The app is hosted on Netlify. Netlify may log standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages accessed) as part of their standard hosting infrastructure. These logs are governed by Netlify's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to or control over these logs.
Google Fonts — The app loads typefaces from Google Fonts on first use. Google may log font requests per their standard infrastructure. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. No user data beyond the standard HTTP request is involved.
This app is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. No personal data is collected from any users, including children.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
